What is Voluma
Juvéderm Voluma XC is a thick, structural dermal filler designed primarily to restore deep volume and "lift" the face. Unlike thinner fillers used for fine lines, Voluma is a "heavy-lifter" typically injected deep against the bone to rebuild facial foundations.

Volumizing: It uses a high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) to fill areas that have "deflated" due to age, such as sunken cheeks.
Lifting: Due to its firm, gel-like consistency (often compared to Jell-O), it provides a physical lift to sagging tissues, sometimes referred to as a "liquid facelift".
Contouring: It is frequently used to sharpen the jawline, project the chin, or fill hollow temples.

Technology: It uses "Vycross" technology, which cross-links different weights of HA molecules to create a robust, moldable gel that resists degradation.
Reversibility: Like all HA fillers, Voluma is fully reversible using an injectable enzyme called hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with the results.
Immediate Results: You will see the lifting and filling effect immediately after the injection, though full settling takes about two weeks.
