She lives in Dubuque with her husband, 2 little boys, dog, and 2 cats.

When she’s not working at GoodLife, she enjoys spending time with her kids, baking, and golf.

Her favorite part of the job is working with the elderly dogs who may need some extra time and a gentle hand, and forming bonds with both the dogs and their owners.

To carry on with our series..."One thing I wish clients knew is...", here is Terri's version.

"I wish owners knew that we don't follow a specific checklist or course of action for every dog, but rather, we look at the individual dog any time they are with us and determine how they are feeling mentally and physically, and meet them where they are.

This is especially true for our older patients.

As we all age, some days we just wake up feeling better than others.

Any foundational skill can be adapted to the dog we are working with based on skill level and ability."
