🎉👶What an exciting day! Our very own Jonesie, Assistant Director, and David are expecting! 💞💖

Residents joined the fun by voting Boy or Girl at lunch, practiced singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star - How we wonder WHAT YOU ARE?" 🤰and celebrated among pink and blue decorations. With mommy and daddy games, party favors, and plenty of singing and laughter, anticipation grew all day for the big reveal...

And then came the moment - out popped a really big baby dressed in blue... IT'S A BOY!💙👶

Everyone is thrilled for Jonesie and David. For many, it was their first baby reveal party - one resident said, "We just waited to see what the baby was when it was born." Such a special memory for all! 😍💙

September 2025 is full of Ageless Adventure here at Sunset Park Place!
We’re excited to share our September newsletter and activity calendar with you—packed with engaging programs, events, and opportunities to connect.
Here are a few highlights this month:
National Assisted Living Week – September 7–12, with a week of celebration and special activities.
Senior Seminar – Tuesday, September 9 at 5:00 PM, presented by Kim Hedrick from Hawkeye Care Center.
Mini Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Saturday, September 13 at 10:30 AM here at Sunset Park Place.
Family & Friends Picnic – Saturday, September 13 at 11:30 AM (immediately following the walk). RSVPs are required for lunch—please call 563-583-7939.
Looking ahead:
Memories of the heART – Thursdays in October from 1–3 PM.
