There’s an empty chair.

But it’s never just a chair, is it?

It’s where he sat for hours… telling stories, cracking jokes, being the center of so many moments. It’s where his family gathered around him—laughing, listening, just being together.

That chair held a husband.
A dad.
A grandpa.
A brother.
A friend.

A man who loved life. Who drove the open road. Who could step into a room and, just like Elvis, make people smile.

And now… it sits empty.

But what fills that space is something just as powerful—memories, love, and the imprint of a life that mattered deeply.

At a service like this, we aren’t just acknowledging what’s missing…
We’re honoring everything that filled that chair. ❤️

If you’ve ever had an “empty chair” in your life, what’s one thing you still carry with you from that person?

There’s a quiet little reminder of life tucked into one of our trees right now… 🌱

And every Spring, it gets me.

Do you ever find yourself noticing the small things this time of year?

The tiny buds on the branches… the first bits of green pushing up from the ground… the feeling that something new is beginning again.

We chose to leave this bird’s nest right where it is. Because it feels like more than just a nest.

It’s a reminder.

That even after seasons of loss… life finds its way back. Soon, there will be eggs. Then tiny birds. And a momma caring for her babies.

In our work, we walk alongside families in some of their hardest moments. We help celebrate lives that have been deeply loved and beautifully lived.

And moments like this—simple, quiet, full of hope—remind us of something important:

Life continues.
Love continues.
And healing begins… often in the smallest ways. 💙

Have you noticed any little signs of Spring lately? I’d love to hear what you’re seeing. 🌿
