As we look forward to March, here's are a few snapshots in time of February. We made Valentines and bird feeders. We enjoyed parfaits created by Natalie and Janaan from our Dietary Dept. We celebrated a resident by wearing our animal prints and enjoying her favorites-flowers and Coca-Cola:)

We have Olympic champs right here at Sunnycrest! Our NF residents participated in 4 events ( Balloon Batting, Bean Bag Toss, Sock Curling and Table Top Hockey) to win the gold, silver and bronze. Our official medal count ended up at Deerwood-1, Eagle Ridge-2, Arbor Mist-4 and River Bluff-5. A lot of fun was had in the attempt for gold! We also enjoyed an Opening Ceremony in which all participants were able to carry the torch:)

Our residents enjoyed some WONDERFUL Christmas gifts! Several organizations and individuals generously provided gifts ensuring each resident had a gift to open on Christmas Eve. Several gifts were also provided from our Amazon wish list. We'd like to thank everyone who made this possible. Without the community's generosity, we could not do a gift pass like this. A shout to our Nursing staff (Santas) for passing out the gifts--and to our Life Enrichment team (elves) for coordinating and putting together each gift.
