These folks (and many more not pictured) make an impact on so many lives with their service. Special congratulations to Paul Fuerst, who has been a Stonehill volunteer for 15 years and Loren Averkamp, who received the St. Vincent de Paul award for his exceptional service to our residents!

When tornado warnings arise at Stonehill, our top priority is the safety and comfort of our residents and team members. We follow established emergency protocols, guiding everyone to designated safe areas and ensuring close supervision and support throughout the event.

And of course, we try to ease any anxiety with a little music and companionship—because sometimes a familiar tune and a friendly presence can make all the difference while we wait out the storm! ❤️

Bill Primasing builds birdhouses to stay busy and active, and he and his wife, Joan, generously donated them to our Circle of Support group through the Caregiver Resource Center.

Bill and Joan joined us to share their knowledge, explaining which birds the houses attract, the best placement, and how to use them effectively. We had a great time priming the birdhouses, and next week we’ll be adding color!

And while most of the paint made it onto the birdhouses… a little may have found its way elsewhere too! 🐦🏠
