Promise of Hope, Inc.

A residential program for those with a drug/alcohol problem. We have men's and women's facilities. We provide residential care for ages 18 and over.

Our women's program is located in Dudley, GA and our men's program in Cochran, GA. We are a 12 month phase program, consisting of three phases. Additionally, we are a work program, which enables the residents to become responsible for themselves, and accept financial responsibility for time in the program. They have a safe environment to experience the realities of life, where they learn to process their daily struggles and prepare to return to society. Promise of Hope provides tools that help strengthen the resident's ability to build a personal relationship with Christ, handle cravings, and address personality conflicts in the personal relationships, work place, and in society at large. These tools include promises from God's Word, prayer, 12-step program guidance, and living and communication skills. Our Family Meetings are a very successful component of our program. Education is important in learning how to stop enabling the bad behavior. Most family members don't realize their actions are helping the self destructive lifestyle to continue. Statistics show when the family members get better, the addict or alcoholic gets better sooner. Attending Family Meetings helps understanding of the process of recovery to occur.

We are so thankful to Crystal Fountain and Ginger Kemp for coming out on Good Friday and baptizing some of our residents. What a special and meaningful time it was for everyone involved.
We are incredibly grateful for their willingness to share their time, heart, and faith with us. Moments like these make a lasting impact, and we are blessed to have experienced it together.

CONGRATULATIONS TO CODY AND CALEB!!! They completed Promise of Hope Men's last night! Please join us in praying for their journey of recovery!

Goodbye Addiction. All of the pain is now over. I have found a new way to live. You used to take me from the people that mean the most to me. You made me feel like I was no good and not worth anyone's love. You took my mom away and showed me that you care for no one. This is goodbye forever.

Goodbye Addiction. I hope to never be a part of you life again. You've hurt me so much and broke me to my knees time and time again. You lied to me and used me. You allowed me to use you to destroy myself, to take me away from my family and friends. You made me view life and myself in the worst ways possible. The thing you didn't do is steal my heart from me because it wasn't yours to take. I now know that God loves me very much and I'm valued. I have been bought with a high price. I know who I really am today. I care about myself and I love myself. I don't need you anymore, nor do I want you. I hope to never be a part of your evil ever again. Goodbye Addiction. I'll catch you on the flip side and lock you away in hell where you belong.

What a wonderful night with the Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce and all the amazing businesses in Bleckley County! We are incredibly honored to have been awarded Community Impact of the Year.

The POH Men's Facility needs to restock some of our toiletries for our residents...deodorant (white stick), body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shave cream/gel, Q-Tips, nail clippers, laundry baskets. If anyone would like to donate, please call our Cochran office at 478-934-0771 🙂❤️
