So, how can we make running easier? One way is to spend less time with your feet on the ground, so you’re spending more time moving forward. This can be done by increasing your number of steps per minute. You might be wondering how MORE steps can equal LESS time on the ground. We want the duration of each step to be shorter. Try adding high knee drills or mini-hurdles to your warmup!

My name is Cristina, and I have been a Certified Athletic Trainer for 16 years.
I take pride in getting to know my patients as people and understand their reasons for running and goals for performance.
Identifying as a runner has been an important part of my life, and I want to help keep others running happily and pain free.
Whether you run for 30 minutes a day to stay healthy, or train for PRs on the road and trail, Superior Running Medicine can help you manage little niggles before they become a problem.
I am a direct access provider, meaning you do NOT need a referral.
I do NOT accept insurance, meaning I am not beholden to insurance companies. I make clinical decisions based on the best available research. I care about your RESULTS, not what insurance companies will reimburse for. And if I can't help you, I will gladly help you find someone that can.
