We've got major winter weather on the way, making this a good time to remind you that our Public Works team is ready to go! Here's a look at the newest snowplows in our fleet. (We purchase 10 new snowplows every year, with each one in our fleet of 120 vehicles lasting about 12 years.)
We have a great team. Here's how you can help when the weather turns dangerous:
Stay home if you can and avoid unnecessary travel.
Give our operators room to work. (If you can’t see the plow truck mirrors, the operator can’t see you.)
If you do go out, scrape off the snow/ice on your vehicle so you can see better.
Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Rotary peach time! We purchased 2 lugs per office so all the staff would have a “peachy weekend!” We appreciate all that our staff does year round! Happy to make this week extra sweet for them! Thank you Rotarians for the opportunity! Keep up the great community work!
