"B" is our letter today- for Body.
So often, we move through the day without noticing the signals our body is sending, rushing past what’s right here. Mindfulness begins by slowing down enough to listen.

Take a gentle moment to scan from head to toe. Notice areas of tightness, warmth, or ease, and the natural rhythm of your breath. There’s nothing to fix—just observe with curiosity.

Introducing: The Mindfulness Alphabet 🌿

What if mindfulness could be simple, approachable, and something you could return to again and again?
Over the coming weeks, Two Rivers Counseling will be sharing a series inspired by the alphabet—one letter at a time. Each post will offer a word, a reflection, and a small practice to help bring more awareness, calm, and intention into everyday life.
This week, we begin with the letter A, for Arrive.

To arrive is to pause and notice:
your breath, your body, your surroundings.
It’s choosing to be present instead of preoccupied.
You don’t need to change anything.
You just need to show up.
This week, practice arriving:
Before a conversation, take one breath.
Before starting a task, feel your feet on the ground.
Before reacting, give yourself a moment to notice.
Arrive in your life—because this moment is the only one you’re actually living.

Take a minute and sit with this. ⬇️

Someday, you’ll look back and realize this version of you - the one you’re rushing past - was something you once wished for.

So enjoy it. Be here for it. Let yourself actually live it.

But remember - Gratitude does not mean settling.

If you don’t love where you are right now, you have power.

Not all at once. Not perfectly. But in small, daily moves that add up.

One better choice. One braver decision. One step today.

Be present for the life you’re living. And keep going toward the life you want.
