What food is to our physical health, spiritual practice is to our mental health. They both reconnect us to our true nature.

Junk art, junk social media, junk politics, junk thoughts are like junk food. They ultimately distort and poison us. That’s why life style decisions matter. We’re not powerless to change our lives, and sometimes the smallest shifts can lead to big results.

Even five minutes of meditation, mindfulness, prayer in the morning can influence our entire day. They align our nervous system with the mental, emotional, psychological and even physical energies of harmony and peace, just as the news, social media and other worldly concerns can steep us in chaos and anxiety for the rest of the day. Be very protective of your mind at the beginning of each morning.

Your day will unfold differently. Things will happen that might not otherwise have happened. One moment of forgiveness can redirect a relationship. One generous comment can open a new door. One prayer for a miracle can make your entire universe open up to love. 🌻
