We are so excited to share our plans to open a new family medicine clinic in the heart of downtown Moorhead.

The Essentia Health team could not be happier to be a part of the downtown neighborhood, expanding access to primary and walk-in care services. We look forward to opening our doors to the community and welcoming patients in summer 2027.

This investment would not be possible without the support and partnership with the City of Moorhead, Minnesota. We’re thrilled to give new life to a property that’s been vacant for several years and to work together toward a healthier, more vibrant downtown. Thank you to the community and city leaders who joined us today to celebrate this news!

Congratulations to Essentia Health Chief Nursing Executive Rhonda Kazik for again being recognized as a Hospital and Health System CNO to Know! According to Becker’s Healthcare, these leaders drive “innovative initiatives that elevate care quality and strengthen clinical excellence across their organizations.” We couldn’t agree more.

Kazik was also named the 2023 “Health Care Workforce Champion” by the Minnesota Hospital Association and was inducted as a fellow for the American Academy of Nursing in 2024.

We have an update to share for a project we’re passionate about in the Brainerd Lakes area!

Last summer saw the highly anticipated opening of Central Minnesota’s largest bike skills park at the Northland Arboretum. Essentia is proud to have contributed $20,000 to the bike park project, and we're looking forward to seeing the project completed in 2026.
