Blink Duluth We give unhurried eye exams and get to know you so we'll get you into the right frames at a price po That means things like an unhurried eye exam.

After years of working in the corporate retail eyewear machine, we started BLINK — a local shop in downtown Duluth. We wanted to create the experience that we longed for ourselves. We get to know our patients and truly understand how they will use their glasses or contacts —gardening, intensive reading, biking, or on a computer. These casual conversations all make their way into the final prescription, lens type, and frame. (One simply can’t accomplish that when limited to 20 minutes of “chair time.”)

We also wanted a comfortable showroom with a wide variety of fun, quality frames, and price points. And there’s no substitution for knowledgeable, personalized service when selecting the right style. Our goal is for you to put on a frame and say, “Wow, I love these glasses.”

And because we’re not beholden to a big corporate office, we get to use a local guy to make our lens. He’s right down the street! Lastly, as corporate stores have stopped repairing broken glasses (to sell you another pair), we embrace the challenge! It’s great to get our customers (also known as friends) back to seeing life. We hope you stop in, browse and chat up us.
