There's another very important Peace of Mind anniversary today!
Karen is so motivated and driven that it did not take long before she became Team Lead at Marble. Karen has an amazing work ethic and is always busy working on anything and everything. Karen has a great rapport with all the individuals at Marble. She is kind and caring and is always going the extra mile to make sure the individuals and house has what they need. Karen, thank you so much for being a part of the peace of mind team and the Marble team. You are definitely an allstar!✨

Today is Ella's 1 year anniversary at Peace of Mind!💫
Ella is very hard working and always shows up 15 minutes early for her shifts. She has a great rapport with all the individuals at Marble and is truly a natural caregiver. Ella has such a wonderful personality, and it shows in everything she does.
Ella, thank you for being a part of the Peace of Mind team and the Marble house. Everyone's day shines a little brighter with you in it!

🎉 Happy 6-Year Anniversary, Scott! 🎉

Today we celebrate Scott, our Vocational Director, and six years of incredible dedication, leadership, and heart. Scott builds strong, meaningful relationships with employers and consistently shows genuine appreciation for their partnerships. His kindness and compassion shine through in every interaction—with individuals we serve, their families, and our community partners—as he works to help people find jobs that truly suit them and bring them happiness.

As a leader, Scott is a caring and supportive boss, an excellent communicator, and someone who always steps in and leads by example. His giving nature is felt by everyone around him. A perfect example? Winning Vikings and Packers tickets during the 12 Days of Giving—and then selflessly giving them to a vocational staff instead of keeping them.

Thank you, Scott, for your commitment, generosity, and the positive impact you make every day. We are grateful for all you do and proud to celebrate this milestone with you! 👏🎊

🎉 Happy One-Year Anniversary, Layla! 🎉

We can’t believe it’s already been a year since Layla joined our team! She started her journey as a DSP and has since stepped into a Manager role within our Community Services Team—and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her.

Layla is a dedicated advocate for every individual we support, always ready to jump in and help wherever she’s needed. Her incredible attention to detail, talent for planning events, and willingness to adapt to change truly set her apart.

Thank you, Layla, for everything you do and for the heart you bring to our team every day—we appreciate you more than words can say! 🌟

It's the season of giving🎁❄️🎄
Peace of Mind and team members decided to chip in to adopt a couple of families to support this Christmas!
We got gifts for 6 girls and 6 boys. We packed up all of our donations and headed to Toys for Tots to drop them off. It was so fun being able to shop for the children and hopefully make their Christmas magical💫

Day 12 of 12 Days of Giving has finally arrived! ❤️💚

We had an INCREDIBLE amount of entries from team members for this prize of 2 tickets to the upcoming Vikings VS Packers game at US Bank Stadium.

And the grand prize winner is......

🌟Ann Bjorklund🌟

The best thing about Ann winning is that her name wasn't even the one randomly selected. Our Vocational Director and huge Packers fan, Scott Simmons, won the tickets but decided to give them to a very well deserving team member, Ann.

Ann is extremely hard working. She is willing to pitch in wherever she is needed for the success of the team and individuals she serves. Peace of Mind is a better place with Ann involved! Congratulations and we know you will enjoy the game 🎟

And that concludes this years 12 Days of Giving! We are so grateful to be able to give back to our driven team members who make our community a better place.

🎉 Happy 4-Year Anniversary, Heather! 🎉

Today, we proudly celebrate Heather, Pike Lake’s incredible Team Manager, and her 4 years of dedication and leadership. Heather truly is the Jill of ALL trades! She brings a can-do attitude to everything she does and ensures that no matter the task or challenge, things get done.

Heather leads by example every day. We see how supportive she is of her team and each individual, always keeping people at the center of her work. She takes the time to plan meaningful activities that everyone can enjoy, making sure each person feels valued and included.

We truly appreciate how closely Heather works alongside her team to ensure everyone is happy, supported, and successful. She adapts to challenging situations with grace—even when they’re not ideal. Whether it’s managing long periods without a van or stepping in to cover shifts, Heather always finds a way to make things happen.

Heather understands her role and consistently gets the job done with little to no help. Her leadership speaks volumes—her team has earned Team of the Quarter on several occasions, and that says it all.
