You have access to care close to home and in your community.

A Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) is available at five area emergency departments for patients who have experienced sexual assault. An exam can include medical care, medications, reporting options, support, and forensic evidence collection.

In 2025, the PAVSA SANE Team spent a total of 6,753.5 hours on-call and served 112 patients over the course of the year, offering options, providing high-quality medical care, and supporting their patient's decisions. 💙
