The Ripple Effect: the continuing and spreading results of an action.

A simple call.

A single quality conversation with a friend—especially via phone or video chat—can boost daily well-being, reduce stress, and combat loneliness.

Today is national .
Pick-up the phone and check in on your friends. We don't all experience joy during the holiday season and it is very important to connect with someone who may be struggling.

If you know of anyone needing additional help, please advise them to call the national crisis hotline at 988. Locally, it is our Brightwater Health Team who assists with these crisis calls in Duluth. Our team is available 24/7 to talk - sometimes all we need is someone to listen and understand and help us through.

A call to a friend or to 988 can save a life.

Giving goods to local non-profits like Brightwater Health, Damiano Center, Chum, Safe Haven Shelter & Resource Center & others keeps our neighbors warm, fed and social. Consider donating any unwanted gifts to one of our charities. We are so grateful for the items to keep our community supported!

When donating to Brightwater Health: items can be accepted at our Superior, WI location for our youth program - Project Reach Out. We accept items such as new clothes, socks, food shelf items, school snacks, hand warmers, jackets, etc.

It has been a month since we became Brightwater Health, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support, encouragement, and trust from our community. This first month has been filled with connection, positive momentum, and a renewed commitment to providing compassionate, accessible care across the Northland.

Our Project Reach Out Drop-In Center is one of our most attended spaces.
Our Drop-In Center provides a safe space to area youth between the ages of 12 - 21 years old. We provide young individuals with an empowering environment for personal growth and wellbeing. We also offer healthy snacks, showers, hygiene items and access to laundry needs. Our dedicated Free-Store offers youth the opportunity to pick up canned goods, clothing , warm socks and other items they may not otherwise receive.

Consider donating to Brightwater Health to provide a ray of hope to youth in our area going through a difficult time.
