We have 3 x exciting events happening in Duluth this weekend for our Brightwater Health Team:

1. Finally Fridays with the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce is tomorrow from 7:30am - 9:00am at our Downtown Duluth location at 120 W 2nd Street. Join us for a morning of connection and professional networking at our newly remodeled building!

2. Duluth Women's Expo on Saturday at the DECC! Stop by our booth #44 to learn more information about our NEW Perinatal Program, enter to win our gift basket giveaway and more.

3. Duluth Public Library's Every Child Ready Duluth Family Fest on Saturday at the Depot. Stop by our booth by registration to play games, win prizes and learn about our child & family services.

We hope to see you this weekend at any or all of these wonderful local events!

And like water, we will always find a way -

Last week we witnessed true selfless acts of care with our Brightwater Health Team.
A notice was sent out stating that one of our employees was unexpectedly on leave due to unforeseen medical circumstances. That team member didn't have enough time off to cover their absence and we were allowed to donate hours to them if anyone was able.

Within 45 minutes of this notice, we reached their maximum amount of donated hours! We were so overwhelmed by the generosity of our team and the care and compassion for one of our own.

The response from our employee on leave:
"I don’t know what to say but thank you and I am grateful for you all. Thank you for your love, support and donation of time. You all make Brightwater Health the best place to work and support individuals on their journey. The most caring, kind and supportive staff. I am beyond words - Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Cloquet Outreach Center is open 10am - 2pm & serving lunch | Two Harbors Waterfront Center in is open now - 12pm.

Exception: Brightwater Health's Project Reach Out Drop-In Center in Superior, WI is CLOSED today.

Our Brightwater Health Clinic locations are CLOSED TODAY due to winter storm and unsafe travel. This includes our Outreach Centers and Project Reach Out Drop-In Center.

Our Yellow Leaf Support Center will remain open.

Our team has been attending events in the community this week!

Child & Family Services attended the St. Louis County, Minnesota Make-A-Difference Conference on Monday, Crisis Team attended Recovery Alliance Duluth's Palentine's Party on Monday evening
& our Recruitment Team attended the The College of St. Scholastica Employment Connections event today & we have the University of Minnesota Duluth Job Fair tomorrow!

Grateful to be a part of all & excited for more to come at the end of the month with the Duluth Women's Expo and Duluth Family Fest on February 28th.

Join us and the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce on Friday, February 27th for Finally Fridays!

Finally Fridays is the Chamber’s morning social series which provides guests the opportunity to start their day with professional accompaniment, breakfast beverages, and snacks. Join us at this special Finally Fridays hosted by Brightwater Health to learn more about the critical work they do for mental health in our community.

In lieu of a registration fee, the Duluth Chamber team will collect cash donations at the door that will go directly to support Brightwater's local Outreach Centers, providing services, meals, social activities, free stores & more to our community members in need. Credit card donations will also be accepted. A $5 minimum donation is encouraged.

We hosted a SOUPerbowl competition during lunch at one of our Duluth locations this week. Several of our staff participated in a friendly co-worker soup recipe competition before the big game.

We are filled with gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting last Wednesday. It was wonderful to gather with our community partners, supporters, staff, board members and friends.
