Welcome to the AHL Healthcare Group official page! Incorporated in 2012, AHL Healthcare Group was formed to act as a parent company for At Home Living, BRIDGES to Success, and Wesley Residence of Duluth, MN. As new opportunities presented themselves and services were diversified, Chris Priley created an umbrella group to house each licensed entity. AHL Healthcare Group today employs more than 250 staff and serves over 175 adults of all different ages, backgrounds, and disabilities. However, each division holds the same values which are:
• All services will be offered and run in a profitable manner
• We will strive for 100% compliance with licensing and employment law regulations
• We will ensure our facilities look and feel like a home we would want for ourselves or a loved one.
• We will employ educated staff; providing training, support and resources to further their knowledge and promote confidence in their delivery of service.

Thunder, an individual residing at our Woodland Home, went with Breanna to the Christmas City of the North Parade! Thunder had a great time!! Love the holiday spirit! 😁🥰

The Zinc House ladies had a craft night at Project Explore with District 196 Community Education, then went to see "Sound of Music" at the Woodbury 10 Theatre! Such an eventful and fun day! 🥰😁🎬🎨

Our Day Program recently spent the day at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center.. and wow! The place is beautiful! The museum was so cool showing the evolution of the team's logos and uniforms, permanent home venues, and accomplishments of players and coaches. We specifically liked the 'Minneapolis Miracle" room and seeing items from the old MetroDome!

One of the individuals that lives at our Afton Home's parents have a farm and decided to take the house over to her house for a little horse therapy! A day with some horses can really do the trick.

Kathy, an individual residing at our Brookdale House, recently celebrated a birthday! We threw her a big bash and our Maple Valley & Candlewick homes joined us! It was a blast. Please help us wish Kathy a big happy birthday! 😁🥰🎂

Jennifer, a staff member at our Wesley Residence, was selected as our Employee of the Month for our Assisted Livings!

Jennifer has worked at Wesley for years and is one of the most positive people we've ever met. We're so lucky to have her on the team. Below is the nomination she received:

"Jennifer has been a cook at Wesley Residence Assisted Living since November of 2022. I am nominating her for employee of the month because she has made a big impact on the lives of our residents. Always going above and beyond in her job duties. Jennifer always shows up to work with a smile on her face and in a positive attitude you can’t be anything but happy and positive when you are around her. Jennifer is always willing to jump in to cover shifts and help where ever she can. She will volunteer to come in early or work doubles to make sure the shifts are covered. She makes us wonderful meals and treats, always taking into consideration on what residents have requested and what they like. Jennifer is more than just a wonderful Cook and Baker she takes the time to sit and have a conversation with our residents and gets to know them on a personal level; they all enjoy when she is working. Jennifer is the definition of a team player and I can’t wait to see what fun treats she comes up with for this holiday season. Thank you for everything you do for us Jennifer, we are very fortunate to have you as part of our team!"

Our Afton crew spent a night on the town enjoying some Texas Roadhouse! Everyone's got to treat themselves here and there! 😁😋😋😋😁

James, an individual living at our Dayton Home, had a busy November! First and most importantly, thank you for your service James! James went out with the house manager, Mekale, to celebrate Veteran's Day. They went to Ace of Fades Barber Lounge and then to Red Robin Gourmet Burgers for lunch! He got a haircut and beard trim from Mekale's daughter at the barbershop! It was almost 7 years since James had went to a barbershop so he was excited and happy in anticipation for his upcoming 65th birthday! James said he likes his new look and is aiming for a once a month barbershop visit! For James 65th birthday about a week later, we took some pictures at the house before we headed out to Lobster for lunch! We had cake and ice cream when we returned home. It was a great and festive week for our guy James!

Kelly, an individual residing at our Shenandoah Home, decided to do lunch & bingo with our Metro 2 Director of Services, Sarah at The Sunset Grill! It was a success as we won on the meat raffle & in bingo! It was a good time with good company! :)

Our Duluth Program Coordinators got together for some pizza at Pizza Hut Central Entrance location #039467 after a day of training this past Wednesday. A wonderful employee noticed that a few of us were wearing our AHL merch and asked what we do. After our Director, Heather, explained - they told us that they were going to comp our pizza! We just wanted to give a shout out to Pizza Hut for such a kind gesture!! 😁😋🍕

Jasmine, a staff member at our Commonwealth Home, was selected as our Employee of the Month - North!

Jasmine is a team player who genuinely cares. She is a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to help out her co-workers, the residents & the home as a whole. We couldn't do it without her! 💪😁
