It was a fantastic opportunity to learn, connect, share resources, and highlight the services we provide to our community. A convenient way to experience therapy. Telehealth therapy is therapy that takes place in the comfort of your home. Through audio and video over the internet, you can meet with your therapist on-the-go from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device (iOS or Android)— it’s your choice!

Telehealth allows us to connect anywhere with secure and convenient appointments.

According to the U.S. Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration, nearly 80 million Americans live in a mental health professional shortage area. Even areas where therapists are accessible, transportation and time constraints often prevent people from seeking mental health services.

What areas of emotional health and psychotherapy may be treated via telehealth?

Most of the concerns and areas of psychotherapy that you would present with at an in-person session may be treated via Telehealth. Research shows that Telehealth may be just as effective as in-person psychotherapy.

Currently, all of the therapists at Insight Counseling offer Telehealth therapy.
