I am hosting my first workshop Saturday 05/17.
The intention of this workshop is to provide the skills to help you establish your own daily meditation practice.
Meditation has been proven to reduce symptoms of a variety of mental health symptoms such as anxiety, depression, overthinking, negative thinking, and emotional dysregulation.
In this two hour workshop, we will learn the basics of meditation, learn the science behind why meditation is so vital to our mental wellbeing, and get an experience of deactivating our nervous system by ending the class with a Yoga Nidra session.
This class is good for anyone who has wanted to start a meditation practice, but doesn’t know where to begin. It is also good for someone who wants to get an afternoon of self care in!
This class is open to the public. You do not have to be a client of Dumas Counseling Center to take this workshop.
