Last Friday, the Olympics officially kicked off, and we were honored to be invited to the Opening Games at Legacy Assisted Living for their special torch lighting ceremony!

Our team joined in the fun with indoor ice skating races (no real ice required 😉), where residents focused on lower body strength and conditioning. Activities like these aren’t just fun—they help improve balance, mobility, circulation, and overall independence.

We love partnering with our senior living communities to make therapy engaging while promoting strength and safety. Staying active doesn’t have to feel like exercise—it can feel like the Olympics! 🏅

We celebrated National Pizza Day by making mini pizzas with Great Plains Nursing and Rehabilitation—complete with pepperoni hearts for an early Valentine’s touch!
Cooking activities help promote independence, creativity, and meaningful engagement, all while reminding our seniors that balance and moderation are key to a healthy lifestyle.

💓 February Blood Pressure Clinic💓

Our February monthly blood pressure clinic for the Dumas community was a great success! We loved seeing everyone who stopped by to take an important step toward better health.

Everyone who participated was entered into our Valentine’s raffle drawing for some sweet prizes—thank you for joining the fun! 💝

Monitoring your blood pressure is an essential part of staying healthy, and our home health team is committed to helping our patients remain safe, strong, and independent at home.

Groundhog Day fun today!
Since the groundhog saw his shadow and winter is sticking around for a bit longer ❄️, we warmed things up with a hot chocolate bar for our seniors. From marshmallows to peppermint and toffee bits, everyone enjoyed creating their own cozy cup.

We also took a moment to talk about enjoying sweets in moderation—because balance is key to staying healthy while still enjoying life’s little treats. 🍫

Today we played the Cheeto Ball Challenge and the room was filled with laughs as everyone took their turn! Activities like this are a fun way to encourage upper-body movement, coordination, and strength while keeping spirits high.
