As everyone searches for the best deals today, it’s important to remember that technology—while incredibly useful—can also carry risks for some members of our community.

At Vantage Health System, we see firsthand how online spaces can contribute to challenges such as shopping or gambling addiction, cyberbullying, sports betting, unhealthy social comparisons, and even strain within families when screen time replaces real connection.

This isn’t a warning against enjoying Cyber Monday.

Instead, it’s a gentle reminder to stay mindful, use technology intentionally, and check in with yourself and the people you care about.
