I’m honored to help sponsor the first Bryce Tate Memorial Basketball Tournament at Nitro High School from 9:30am – 7:30pm.

Every dollar raised goes toward educating our young people about the dangers of sextortion—so no other family has to experience this kind of loss.

After many years of working with teen girls and women who have faced trauma and adversity, one recurring theme I’ve seen is a lack of connection to self.

Not because you don’t care.

But because at some point, you had to disconnect to get through. Create defenses that served you once but no longer serve you.

As a therapist, a big part of my work is helping you rebuild that connection.

That looks like learning to trust your thoughts, your feelings, and your instincts again. 🧠

It looks like understanding your nervous system—and learning how to regulate it, not fight it. 🧘

And it means looking beyond just “talking about it” to include your habits, your patterns, and your body as part of the process.

Because healing isn’t just about insight.

It’s about feeling safe enough in yourself to actually live differently.
