Not all cancers in the head and neck region are classified as head and neck cancers.

According to the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance, cancers of the brain, eye, thyroid, and skin are different conditions and require different treatments.

Head and neck cancers most commonly occur in areas such as the:

• Mouth
• Throat
• Voice box (larynx)
• Sinuses
• Salivary glands

Because these cancers can sometimes develop without obvious symptoms, early detection is important.

In recognition of Head & Neck Cancer Awareness Month, we are offering FREE Head & Neck Cancer Screenings with our ENT specialist.
