Did you know that you can CHOOSE where you complete your rehabilitation?

In fact, your provider CAN NOT “TELL YOU” that it is PROTOCOL for you to attend their specific Physical Therapy clinic.

We recently had a client that wanted to come to us for their rehabilitation and had to initially have a visit with their Orthopedic Doctor. He did not want to go there and the Doctor insisted that he went to their clinic so that the documentation was easier to exchange with their PT office. Even after the patient was persistent, the Doctor insisted, resulting in the patient feeling pressured to go to their clinic. Most people don’t realize that you have the RIGHT TO CHOOSE!!!

Stop falling into the cycle of “just because the provider says it’s best, doesn’t mean it is!”

In fact, it is illegal for providers to pressure patients into attending their clinic and should offer that they attend their desired clinic.

Your therapist should not say, “Work on this I’ll be right back.”

Just to walk away to attend to someone else.

You should have our attention and descriptions as to why you are completing every therapeutic exercise.

You have our 100% attention through your entire stay. Our clients are our priority and we are so glad we can help.

Motivational Monday!!

After knee surgery, this client couldn’t do a step up without hiking her hip up even on a 4 inch step.

A few short weeks later, she is not only improving with her step up height but also a significant difference in her hip hiking.

Hard work pays off!!!

We still have work to do to improve her functional movements but this was such a huge milestone for her!
