During Mease Dunedin Hospital’s recent tree lighting ceremony, our hospital chaplain invited us to pause, breathe and reflect — reminding us that even in the most challenging moments, hope still shines.

This season calls us to care for one another with compassion and kindness. To our patients and families, it’s a reminder that you are not alone. To our nurses, physicians, caregivers and support staff, it’s gratitude for the strength and dedication you bring to every moment of care. And to our community, it reflects the unity and warmth that lifts us all.

Cue the music, smiles and holiday spirit — Mease Dunedin Hospital is back! 🎄✨

Last weekend, we proudly returned to Dunedin’s annual downtown holiday parade for the first time since 2019 — and it was all thanks to our amazing Volunteer Resources team.

Volunteers from Care Lift, The Treehouse and our hospital volunteer program helped spread joy throughout the community, riding in our festive Care Lift vans and waving to parade-goers of all ages.

It was a heartwarming reminder of the compassion, generosity and festive cheer our volunteers bring to our community year-round — especially during the holiday season.

Thank you to our volunteers for representing Mease Dunedin Hospital in this time-honored holiday tradition. ❤️ We loved being back!

What a magical night! 🎄✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Mease Dunedin Hospital’s First Annual Tree Lighting yesterday! The courtyard sparkled with lights, festive cheer and plenty of holiday spirit.

Team members and families enjoyed hot chocolate, sweet desserts and more as we celebrated this new tradition together. We loved seeing our community come together to kick off the season in such a joyful way. ❤

We are thrilled to announce that Mease Dunedin Hospital has earned yet another “A” for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group! 🎉 We are deeply honored to be recognized with this top rating for our extraordinary team’s commitment to quality and safety.

The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit organization that promotes patient safety, announced its Fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grades today, and 11 of BayCare’s acute-care hospitals received an “A,” the group’s highest rating.
