On any given day, you may notice birds soaring above the property - ospreys, turkey, vultures, and a variety of other native avian wildlife that makes this area their home. It’s a quiet reminder that just beyond our walls of medical precision and advanced care, nature continues its own rhythm.

Years ago, our team and patients were fortunate to observe an osprey family nesting just outside our third story recovery rooms - affectionately named Madeline and Igor by Dr. Laufer. It was a moment that reflected the unique connection between this environment unexperienced of healing. While that chapter has passed, the surrounding wetlands remain vibrant, active, and ever-changing.
