Excel Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned outpatient clinic located in Dunkirk, Maryland! Now offering Dry Needling Services!

At Excel Physical Therapy, we specialize in treatment based on a thorough, comprehensive evaluation utilizing one-on-one manual therapy. Maryland Law allows Physical Therapists to treat an average of three patients per hour per day. At Excel Physical Therapy our therapists see two patients per hour to provide YOU with comprehensive quality care. We develop individualized treatment plans specific to our patient’s needs, wants, and goals. We provide patient education and comprehensive home exercise programs. We specialize in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, Surgical Prehabilitation and Rehab (knee, hip, ACL, Rotator Cuff, and much more), Back and Neck Pain (Acute and Chronic), Headaches, Neuromuscular Re-education (effects of Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Bell's Palsy, Stroke), Pelvic Health (Incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, and more), Postural and Ergodynamic Evaluation, Scar Tissue Mobilization, and Vestibular Rehabilitation (Vertigo, Balance & Proprioceptive Retraining).

About Us

Excel Physical Therapy is a private, physical therapist owned practice servicing patients in the areas of Anne Arundel, Calvert and Prince George’s counties in Maryland. Our clinic focuses on manual therapy as an important component of treatment, along with therapeutic exercise, patient education and modalities. New patient evaluations are given one-hour time slots, and two patients are scheduled per hour for follow ups (where the state allows up to three) to ensure quality time with the therapist each visit. Each member of our staff works together as a team to provide quality care from scheduling with the front desk, to working with a therapy tech and physical therapist during your appointment. We accept most major insurance carriers, along with Workman’s Compensation and auto accident claims. Call our office for more information, we can’t wait to meet you!
