Brown, DC, DABCO, started his practice in 1990 with a commitment to providing compassionate care of the highest quality. Dr. Brown received his chiropractic degree (DC) at the National College of Chiropractic, Lombard, Illinois and his undergraduate degree from West Chester University. Dr. Brown has attained Diplomate status, the highest certification of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DABCO) and has continued his education through the National/Lincoln College of Chiropractic. Dr. Brown believes education is never-ending, and returns to the classroom at least once a year to remain current with the latest chiropractic and medical information. Dr. Brown concentrates on treating maladies of the neurologic, muscular, and skeletal systems. As an avid swimmer and cyclist, he takes a special interest in treating athletic and sports injuries. Dr. Brown is a past president of the Scranton Organized Area Runners and served as a PIAA basketball & track official, contributing to his unique understanding for managing running-related injuries. Additionally, he has achieved Level I Certification as a swim official from the YMCA of USA. For nearly a decade, Dr. Brown taught anatomy and physiology at Marywood University to undergraduate students in nutrition, sportsmedicine, health and physical education, and other health related majors.
