I had the pleasure of meeting Valerie at a Winter Wellness event where she facilitated one of the most beautiful sound baths I’ve ever experienced. There were instruments and sounds I had never heard before, and her session brought me into a deep, peaceful, meditative state that stayed with me long after it ended.

I later won one of her Reiki sessions and had the opportunity to meet with her one-on-one. From the moment I arrived, Valerie was incredibly attentive and thoughtful—making sure I felt comfortable and grounded first by offering a warm brewed tea with lemon and peppermint, which immediately helped me settle into the space.

It was really special getting to connect more personally—hearing her story, her healing journey, and how she came into this work. Valerie has a calming presence and an openness that makes you feel safe, seen, and at ease.

During the Reiki session, she incorporated gentle sound elements throughout, which added another layer of relaxation and intention to the experience. The session itself felt like a soft reset and a grounding reminder that I’m aligned and moving in the right direction. Sometimes healing isn’t dramatic—it’s a quiet reaffirmation—and that’s exactly what this experience offered me.
