KT Tape & Belly Bands: What’s the Truth?

Myth: KT tape or belly bands always help during pregnancy.
�Truth: The research doesn’t actually support KT tape or belly bands for abdominal support or for preventing or treating abdominal separation (diastasis recti).

While these tools can provide short-term comfort or even help cue better posture, they aren’t a one-size-fits-all fix. In some cases, belly bands can actually increase downward pressure if your pelvic floor isn’t properly supported.

Running smarter starts before your first step.

We had an awesome time Sunday morning with Washington Running Club diving into runner readiness, breathwork, and movement screens for injury prevention and performance optimization.

From balloon breathing (yes, really 🎈) to single-leg strength and stability work, these runners learned how small tweaks in movement and breathing can make a big difference on the road.

Thanks to everyone who joined and brought great energy on a chilly DC morning!
