Breastfeeding a NICU baby is exhausting. I was fresh postpartum and needed in his bay every 2 hours to eat. Between that, I’d trek back to my room so my own nurse could tend to me, I could eat, change my giant pads, and try to get little micro naps. What had been packed with the intention of just wearing around my room ended up being my outfit I wore all over the hospital for days 😅. But honestly, this robe was perfect. It was easy to breastfeed, do skin to skin, and I could cover baby overtop for comfort and warmth.

I’m not here to tell you what you want to hear, but I am here to hold your hand while we work through part of your experience that you want help with. If your consult didn’t sit right in your gut, reach out for a second opinion! Your LC should be in it for the long haul, to sit with you when it’s hard, and never make you feel like you can’t even try.

51 babies so far. Botulism is no joke, and marketing a product without mentioning the very real risk during an active recall (while still undergoing investigation to find the exact cause AND refusing to update their manufacturing practices according to FDA guidelines), is unconscionable.

Formula is life saving and life sustaining for millions of babies around the world. New, exhausted, and desperate moms shouldn’t have to worry about being misled about the safety of a product on social media, especially when it’s something as important as this.
