UPDATE: I’m just a few days late for the update I promised you guys, but here it is…
With our cleansing PuriTEA, the change of my diet to clean and raw foods, a few workout sessions, and the reduction of toxins I lost 8.2 lbs! (We are said to have on average 10 pounds of waste in our bodies right? YUCK!) Doing these things helped clear up brain fog, the sluggish feeling we get sometimes, and other annoying issues that come with eating meat and other foods that we don’t realize are toxic to the body.
You will never know until you try it, but when living a vegan lifestyle and eating raw fruits and veggies, you don’t get “the itis” like we tend to get after we eat a diet filled with meat and dairy. In other words your body doesn’t get tired from having to work so hard to break those foods down. No more snoozing after meals and now you have more energy! 😍
Ever just feel drained and low on energy but all you’ve done is practically nothing all day? That may have been why and that’s a sign that it’s time to clean up and clean out!
I will say: when you are used to living a certain way and have had the same diet for many years, temptation makes it hard to make those changes in your life. But they are necessary for optimal health so challenge yourself!
A few tips for cleansing:
1. Grocery shop before you start! (Funny story: I cold turkey jump started my cleanse and found that I didn’t have too many things in my house that I could eat. So I panicked the first day, made a grocery list, and went shopping the next. 😂)
2. If you know you get late night cravings/munchies, buy more fruits, seeds and nuts or if you must healthy snacks.
3. If you must cheat to keep your sanity, go small and don’t get carried away. Once you break it makes it harder to get back on track.
4. Go online and look up some recipes of meals you may want to eat. Join vegan groups for ideas on meals, smoothies, and etc.
5. REST! It is very important to rest when cleansing. This is the time where you are trying to balance and you don’t need to be stressing your body out. (Sometimes when cleansing you may get the detox bloat and possibly a headache.)
6. DRINK MORE WATER! It’s good for you and helps flush your system.
7. Relax, you are really not starving.
8. You may urinate more and have more frequent and smooth bowel movements. Completely normal, remember you are cleansing so the toxins have to come out somewhere. Again DRINK MORE WATER. It helps the process. 😉
9. If you mess up and cheat, get back on track and try again!

Starting my DESPERATELY NEEDED cleanse today!😁
The cleanse will consist of my PuriTEA ☕️ accompanied by a raw vegan diet and reduction of external toxins we tend to introduce to our bodies (chemical filled soaps/body wash, lotions, meat, dairy and the list goes on.) 🍓
It will last for a total of 3-14 days. 🗓
The PuriTEA has 8 of the best detoxing herbs to include one of my favs, the Dandelion with a bit of Ginger and some Red Clovers. I will be drinking this 2-3 times a day and what it will do is remove the toxins from my body, cleansing my lymph’s, glands, digestive system, urinary tract, liver, kidneys and colon. It will in turn do a lot more but those listed are just to name a few. 🌿🌿🌿
I weighed in after my morning bathroom run and I won’t post my starting weight, unless you insist. 😂 Once the cleanse is over I will definitely be letting you all know how much I lost.
