Lawrence James Bell, 68 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on April 18, 2026 at his residence in Dupo, IL. He was born January 8, 1958, in Gideon, MO.

James met the love of his life, Debbie Keeney, in Madison, IL in 1988 and married later that year in November.

James was a dock worker for UPS Freight in St. Louis, MO. He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals. James enjoyed his yearly fishing trips with his brothers, fishing for crappie. Always one to "stir the pot", James was a true character. He loved spending time with his family and making memories.

Surviving are his Wife, Debbie Bell; Children, Tammy, Mike, Jason and Carey; 10-Grandchildren; 4-Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Arnold, Steve (Cindy) and David (Maureen); Sister, Joy (Phil); along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Lawrence and Elizabeth (nee Dawson) Bell; Son, Gregory Bell; Sister, Wanda Turner; Father and Mother-in-Laws, Bill and Frankie Keeney; Brother-in-Laws, Billy and Jerry.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 25, 2026, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home, Millstadt, IL. Interment will take place at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, Millstadt, Illinois.

The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the Bell family to assist with final expenses and can be received at Leesman Funeral Home.

Mark Edwards, 63, passed away on April 5, 2026. He was born April 18, 1962, in Belleville, Illinois John F. Edwards Jr. and Christina Mae Edwards.

Mark graduated from Dupo High School in 1980, where he was known for his football talent and earned the nickname "Chunk," a name that stayed with him throughout his life.

Mark spent years working as a truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters Local 688. He was co-owner of Razors Edge with his brother Mike, and later owner of Edwards Whistle Stop, well-known and beloved gathering places in the community where he built lasting friendships and connections.

He was a proud father to Ronnie (Nikki) Bennett, BreighAnna (Andrew) Maynard, Nathanael Edwards and Austin Oxendine. He deeply loved his grandchildren, RyLee, Andy, and Isaac Maynard, Ava and Cameron Bennett, and Barrett Oxendine-and cherished the time spent with them. Mark is survived by his brothers John F. "Jay" Edwards III and his wife Kimberly, Michael Edwards and his wife Polly, his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family, and friends who will remember him for the love he had for his family and the impact he had on those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. Edwards Jr. and Christina Mae Edwards.

Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Illinois.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to crowd funding account to help the family with funeral expenses.
