On Day 2 of National Gratitude Month, we recognize Mackensy Pittman, one of our newest EMTs. This post will be a bit longer, as Mackensy just joined our service in August. She joined our service driven by a desire to assist others. She has a passion for outdoor activities and traveling. Mackensy is an ambitious individual with clear goals. We welcome her to our team and look forward to supporting her as she achieves her objectives. Her ultimate goal is to serve as a combat medic in the US military. Thank you Mackensy for joining our team!

Today is the 1st day of school. Good luck students and teachers! Let's make it a safe year!

Ready or not, here we go!

School is starting for a lot of students in the county this week. Please remember these school bus tips shared with us from Mr. Kitchner, Transportation Director of the Elmwood School District:

🚌 Flashing YELLOW lights = Be prepared to STOP
πŸ›‘ RED lights = STOP
🚌 DON'T try to beat the lights
🚌 WATCH for kids standing near the road
πŸ“΅ Phone down. Pay attention!

Let's all do our part to keep the kids safe. Make it a great school year!
