Hundreds of clients have found relief and recovery, Sheila Hoffman, L.M.T.,M.M.P, opened Knead Time Away massage clinic, in Durand, IL, in July 1st, 2002. She graduated from the Kishwaukee College Therapeutic Massage Program in August 2002. Her eclectic background of experience in areas such as clinical and hospital settings, manufacturing, retail management, customer service, ergonomics, hospitality and workers compensation processing allows her to better understand your working environment and possible causes of repetitive use injuries, body mechanics and postural issues. She obtained the title of Certified Medical Massage Practitioner in May 2019 and is Illinois State Licensed and a 24 year Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

******************* LOCAL HERO RETURNS HOME *******************
A local hero is returning home to Durand. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 8th, in the Durand High School gymnasium to honor Flight Officer Shirl P. Best who gave his life for our Country during World War II. Visitation at the High School will begin at 10:30 AM. At Noon a Memorial Service will be held, followed by graveside services at Durand Township Cemetery.
All are encouraged to attend the Service to honor one of the "Gold Stars" our Post is dedicated to as he, at long last, returns to his hometown.

Knead Time Away massage clinic will be taking donations at Medina Outpatient Building Medina Nursing and Rehab as a Droff-off location for the month of MAY for the Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive hosted by Prairie State Investments in Durand. ALL donations will be given to the Durand Area Food Pantry for nutritional meal options for kids home on summer vacation.
