2025 has been a year of growth, change, and so much gratitude here at Cat Care Durango. We are deeply thankful for every supporter, volunteer, adopter, foster, rescues and community partner who has stood by us and supported our mission this year. Because of you, we’re heading into 2026 inspired, hopeful, and excited for all that lies ahead—for our organization and for the cats we care for 😻

Soft launch begins January 7th, with our winter hours now in effect. We’re easing in now and planning a full Grand Opening on Valentine’s Day 💖

They’re here! Our 2026 Cat Care Durango calendars have arrived! 📆
Even though we’re closed until the new year, supporters are welcome to pick one up for a $25 donation—just send us a message before you come by so we can make sure someone is available.
Every calendar helps support the cats in our care. Thank you for your patience while we transition into our new home!

The big move is officially underway! As of today, we’re closed for the remainder of the year while we transition into our new home. But! Here’s another little sneak peek of the place we’ll soon be calling home. 🐾

Their team delivering a donation box filled with goodies for the cats — all part of their November donation drive supporting local nonprofits, including Manna, Annie’s Orphans, and Cat Care Durango.

We are so grateful to be included alongside these wonderful organizations. Your kindness directly supports the cats in our care, and gestures like this truly make a difference. 💛🐾

Thank you, Durango Animal Connection, for being such an incredible rescue partner. Together, we’re making real change for the animals in our community, and we truly couldn’t do it without you! 🥰

Tomorrow is and our newest kitty addition, Pinyon, is wondering what non-profits you're supporting this year?
There are so many amazing organizations in our area and so many humans making the world a better place. We're hoping you'll consider helping homeless animals find their forever homes with organizations like La Plata County Humane Society, Cat Care Durango, Rachel's Forgotten Felines, and us here at Durango Animal Connection, or supporting organizations like Dogster's Spay & Neuter Program ("D-SNiP")that provide spay/neuter services to our community, or even sanctuaries and rehabilitation centers like prana DOGS who provide specialized care to dogs with behavioral needs.
Pinyon is thinking he'd like to support something having to do with tuna but we told him he needs to be a little more thoughtful, so he's working on his plan for tomorrow.

If you'd like donate to support us this we are raising money to help provide a better life for the animals we rescue and the people who open their hearts to adopt them. This year we're campaigning to raise funds that go directly to providing veterinary care to the dogs and cats in our care.

🐾Bloodwork and other diagnostic tests
🐾Age appropriate vaccinations
🐾Spay and neuter surgeries
🐾Emergency vet care
