Meet our massage therapists! This week we are featuring Barbara Sager. Barbara has been practicing Massage Therapy for over thirty years. In her experience as a holistic practitioner, the essence of healing is balance, encompassing the aspects of the body, mind, spirit and emotions. She integrates various modalities she learned over the years into sessions including; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Lomi lomi ( the Hawaiian healing art of Massage), and energy work. She also integrate the principles of Universal Wisdom as it applies to Bodywork. Barbara graduated from the Heida Brenneke School of Massage, and attended the Pacific Northwest Center of the Healing Arts in Seattle, Washington. She completed her training at the Hawaiian School of Massage. Her instructor, Margaret Machado, was a world renowned Lomi lomi Healer, teacher, and revered Hawaiian elder.

Barbara continues her education with Candace Lienhart, a Kahuna, of Tucson, Arizona. She is an influencial Healer and teacher on her journey, emphasizing Universal Wisdom as a way of life on this planet. Barbara is a facilitator for healing, offering support that best serves and empowers each client. Meet out Massage Therapists! Lenore Anderson has been practicing holistic health and healing as a Clinical Herbalist and Massage Therapist in her private practice and at several Spas in the US for the past 20 years. She graduated from The Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies in Boulder, Colorado in Clinical Herbalism, in 1996. That’s where she began her studies in Chinese Five Element medicine and acupressure. Lenore has over 600 hours of study in Meridian Massage, Shiatsu, and Acupressure with many teachers from The Shang Shun Institute and The Alchemy Healing Center in MA. and The Big Tree School of Natural Healing in FL. She received her 500-hour certification in Massage Therapy from The Massage School, in Easthampton, MA. in 2006.

Lenore is an integrative massage therapist who is interested in helping you to heal and understand your personal body dynamics. Her techniques focus on relaxing the nervous system and opening blocks along the 12 meridians (energy channels) using firm pressure on trigger points and acupressure points. You know, those knots. She offers a versatile integrated massage experience tailored to the needs of each client. She is trained in various modalities such as: Accupressure, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, Hot Stone, Neuromuscular, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping & Reflexology. Her massage is influenced by her education in many eastern healing modalities such as Chinese Five Element healing theory & chi-flow & meridian based bodywork. Del combines these techniques to offer a comprehensive & restorative massage of the physical body while also working to bring into balance a harmonious flow of Chi energy (also known as Qi or Ki: the energetic field of the body) which is an key aspect of eastern medicine. She holds a safe space for the emotional & energetic releases that can sometimes accompany bodywork. Her passion for the healing arts is based in an aspiration to help each client heal the body & relieve stress through calming the nervous system, the muscular system & the mind in a way that encourages a one’s natural ability to re-align with their inner peace & essential self.
