Let’s settle this once and for all: Dermaplaning will NOT make your hair grow back thicker, darker, or coarser. 🙅‍♀️✨

We hear this concern all the time, but here is the biological truth:

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝘁: Dermaplaning only removes hair at the surface. It doesn't touch the follicle (where hair growth is determined).

𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀 𝘃𝘀. 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹: We are removing "vellus hair" (soft peach fuzz), not the thick terminal hair you find on your head or underarms.

Randee is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is trained in procedures ranging from Botox and lip injections to micro needling and Geneo facials. Our goal is for each client to achieve a look that makes them feel their best. We are here to discuss options one on one with the client to provide customized suggestions to achieve each individual’s beauty goals.

Randee founded PLUMP’D to make the world of injectables more approachable, more talked about and more enjoyable. Our brand new medical spa in Durant, Oklahoma is an elegant and upscale beauty destination. Our goal is for our clients to leave 100% satisfied and ecstatic about their face.
