Took this group to Nashville to HOSA ILC (international leadership conference) where they competed against students from all over the world!
Over 14,000 students and advisors were in attendance.

Our health science 3 class took a course and got certified in Stop the Bleed today. They learned all about placing tourniquets to help stop profuse bleeding, how to pack and apply pressure to injuries and bleeding wounds and will now be able to help in a critical situation if needed. *hopefully won't ever have too*

Now that we've had a second to calm down from this exciting week at HOSA State, I need to brag on this group!
Since the beginning of September, these students have worked so hard learning all they can to score high enough on their written test to make it to Round 2,to which they then had to learn the skills portion and compete against students from all over Oklahoma this week.
I'm so proud to say that we had 14 students place in the Top 5 in their events!!

Maddie Ragle-3rd in time health aide
