I) What’s the most important thing that patients want?

A) 1 is by listening
Learn their beliefs & help them reconceptualize
B) 2 is via self-efficacy - a positive experience w/ movement
III) Performing movement exploration to find a safe starting point (of tolerable) exercises
❇️ dialing traffic light, reps, frequency, etc)
❇️ encouraging self-organization - ie no single right or “correct” technique
❇️ Helping them gain confidence that they can handle more than they think they were capable of:
⁃ tangible hope & an achievable plan
⁃ It’s about tailored planning, preparing, & programming (person-centered) more than treatments or training (Dr/Coach-centered)
