To our graduating P4 students, congratulations! We wanted to make you aware of a great opportunity to stay involved and network within NCAP if you are staying in North Carolina post-graduation. This message is from Carrie Baker, incoming chair of the New Practitioners Forum of NCAP.
My name is Carrie Baker and I will be taking over as Chair of the New Practitioner Forum Executive Committee (NPFEC) in June of 2022. I’m currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Campbell University and a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Internal Medicine at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. Through participation in NPF over the last two years I have been able to make connections with other new pharmacists across the state of North Carolina and continue to grow and develop as a leader through participation in our Leadership Buzz book series and Financial Buzz series. Participating in NPFEC has also afforded me the opportunity to contribute to the development of a leadership certificate program that will hopefully be implemented in the coming year!
As graduation approaches, we would like to invite you to consider joining the NPFEC. If any of the above activities have sparked your interest and you would like to join our committee, or if you have additional questions, please email me at cnbaker@campbell.edu We look forward to working with you and supporting you throughout the start of your pharmacy careers!
