What a weekend for Northeast Passage sled hockey! 🏒🔥

While Team USA captured Paralympic gold in Milan with four NEP athletes on the roster, our NEP teams were busy making history of their own at the NESHL Playoffs in Vorhees, NJ — and they did not disappoint.

Both the NEP NESHL Atlantic and NEP NESHL Metro teams skated their way to league championships, capping off undefeated playoff runs.

Metro Division Results

• Sat: W vs Ga***rd Wolfpack 11–2
• Sun: W vs Johnstown Sitting Bulls 5-1 (Championship)

From the international stage in Milan to championship ice in New Jersey, NEP athletes showed the strength, depth, and sportsmanship of Northeast Passage sled hockey.

After celebrating Team USA's Sled Hockey Gold victory yesterday, get a glimpse of the legacy that brought the US its first gold medal run. "Ice Gold" is coming to the Portsmouth Music Hall Thursday Mar. 26 at 7 PM for a free community screening.

🏒 ICE GOLD follows the inspiring story of the 2002 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey team. Following a last-place finish, the team overcomes immense challenges to win the gold medal, featuring never-before-seen archival footage.

This very special community screening will feature a live post-film discussion with coach and Boston Bruins great Rick Middleton and assistant coach Tom Moulton!

While many of us have been focused on the excitement of the Paralympics and playoff sled hockey, the rest of the Northeast Passage community has been busy too!

Our Veteran Recreation participants have been getting creative in the woodshop—turning wooden bowls on the lathe and building custom boxes on the bandsaw. It’s all about community, creativity, focus, and the satisfaction of crafting something with your own hands.

Thank you to Operation Hat Trick for supporting the NEP Veteran Arts Program and helping make opportunities like this possible for the veterans we serve. 🇺🇸🪵🛠️

The June 28 - July 2, UNH Wildcat Sports Education Camp for the Blind is a specialized youth (Ages 10 - 18) program designed to provide children and teens with visual impairments through an inclusive, empowering, and fun summer experience. The camp focuses on adaptive sports, recreational activities, and skill-building opportunities that promote independence, confidence, and social engagement.

🚨 NESHL Championship Weekend! 🚨

Northeast Passage sled hockey is heading to Vorhees, NJ this weekend to compete in the NESHL Championship, and they’re bringing some serious momentum with them.

The NEP NESHL Metro Team enters the championship undefeated, leading the Metro division after a dominant regular season. The NEP NESHL Atlantic Team finished the regular season 10–1, securing the top spot in the Atlantic division.

Both teams have battled all season to earn their place at the top of the standings, and now they’ll hit the ice one more time this season with a 🏆 championship on the line.

Good luck to all of our athletes and coaches as they represent Northeast Passage this weekend. We’re proud of the hard work, teamwork, and determination that got you here.
