Rehab to Performance is devoted to “Bridging the Gap” from disability to ability; from treatment in the clinic to return to participation; and from patient to athlete. This is accomplished by utilizing modern clinical treatment to regain functional capacity. We are a student arm of the International Society of Clinical Rehab Specialists (ISCRS) focusing on bridging the gap between treatment, rehabilitation, and performance.

We have our first movement screens of the semester tonight at Wilson Gym from 6pm to 8pm. We will be on the basketball courts instead of the second-floor classroom. Feel free to come drop by and get screened. The screens should take 5-10 minutes total. We will then follow up by giving you some corrective exercises to improve your movement!

Brett Aefsky, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS is a staff Physical Therapist with Duke Athletics. He graduated from Duke University with his DPT in 2012 and completed the Physical Therapy Sports Residency at Duke Sports Medicine the following year. He has lectured for Return to Sport considerations at the NCPTA Annual conference and the APTA Midyear Conference.
