Staying congruent during the holidays starts on the inside.

In these times, it’s more important than ever to stay connected to joy—not by performing tradition, but by choosing what nourishes you.

Listen to your body. Listen to your heart. Honor your capacity. Use your voice to say yes to what feels aligned, and no to what does work not for you.

Let’s return to what really matters: love, connection, presence.

Joy can be an act of resistance.

Ever leave a group or conversation and feel off, emotionally triggered or overstimulated?

One of my favorite resets is surprisingly simple: wash your hair. 🜁

Warm water helps down-shift the nervous system, release tension in the scalp, and interrupt looping thoughts by giving the brain a sensory reset.

On a mind-body level, the crown—at the top of the head—is associated with wisdom, perspective, and higher awareness, so tending to this area can support emotional integration and help you return to inner peace.

Afterwards, sit quietly for a few minutes, breathe, and reconnect to your center.

Small regulation practice → big shift back to clarity and self.
