Melissa brings over a decade of hands-on experience in medical offices, along with a genuine passion for helping others. She is driven by building meaningful connections with patients and teammates, a commitment to continuous learning, and the opportunity to make a positive impact each day.

Outside of work, Melissa enjoys adventures with her three godchildren, exploring all things horror—from movies and shows to haunted attractions—with her bestie, visiting amusement parks, and spending quality time with her cat, Gemma.

You'll find Melissa at the front desk, ready to welcome you and get you ready to meet with your provider.

If you’ve been part of the Compass Health community on social media, you may have noticed that our presence here has been quieter than we intended over the past few months (okay, years) The truth is simple: while we haven’t always done a great job communicating about the clinic, we have been deeply immersed in it.

Since our beginning, our focus has been on showing up for patients — building relationships, walking alongside families, and supporting others through some of life’s most challenging seasons. Much of this work happens quietly, in our welcoming and comfortable clinic space. Our team is continuing to grow and we are excited to introduce you to our newest staff member soon....

Compass Health is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both patient care for two providers and day-to-day clinic operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys direct patient interaction while also helping keep the office organized, efficient, and patient-focused.

Clinic description: There are two nurse practitioner providers that work 30 hours/week each, one being the owner of the practice. The direct primary care model allows for longer appointment times so typically appointments are 30-60 minutes each, with approximately 1-4 patients/hour total between both providers. With the slower pace of patient care, this position also includes responsibilities for managing day-to-day clinic operations.
