Advocacy Day was a success!
More than 230 care-at-home advocates from across the country gathered in Washington, DC to meet with over 275 congressional offices, advancing key legislative and regulatory priorities to ensure and expand access to home-based care.

Representing Duke Health, Nicole Clagett and Cooper Linton joined the National Alliance for Care at Home to advocate for the future of home health and hospice. Their conversations with lawmakers helped spotlight the pressing issues facing our field and reinforced the importance of strengthening support for care-at-home services.

Over the course of three powerful days and four major events, the Duke Caregiver Community Event reached nearly 2,000 caregivers, professionals, and community members, each one hearing a message of empowerment, support, and advocacy. Whether through education, connection, or celebration, we came together to honor the vital role of caregivers and remind them they are never alone.
