My next backpacking meal - beef chili. I dehydrated it at 135 degrees for about 7 hours. I'll put the dehydrated beef chili in the labeled bag. On the trail I'll add 7.5oz of boiling water and "cook" for about 10 minutes. It will be delicious.

Meal prepping for breakfast this week. Waffles from the Kodiak mix. I'll be adding fruit to it tomorrow morning.

I was super prepared this morning. Yesterday I cut the vegetables for the chicken chili. I also combined the seasonings and put out all of the ingredients I needed to dump in the crockpot this morning. When I came home from work at 530 I was so happy dinner was ready. I try to make the healthy option the easiest option.

Canadian Thanksgiving always kicks off the holiday season for me. Cheese and crackers for an appetizer. Turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad with pears and pecans for dinner. Dessert was coffee with vegan Mexican chocolate pie.
