Resident and veteran John L. has a story he’s deeply passionate about—one that honors the legacy of war veteran John Abbott. Recently, John revisited the memorial site dedicated to Abbott, a place that has held a special spot in his heart since childhood. As its caretaker growing up, John was disheartened to find the site overgrown, unkept, and far from the condition a soldier of such honor deserves.

Determined to bring attention to this injustice, John has reached out to local Legions and Veteran Associations, advocating for proper maintenance and year-round accessibility of the memorial. His commitment to preserving Abbott’s memory is driven by respect, pride, and a genuine desire to do right by a hero.

At Harmony, we are proud to stand behind John and support his efforts however we can. His passion inspires us, and we’re honored to help shine a light on this meaningful cause.
