My Prayer for Anyone Going Through a Difficult Time 💜

As a psychotherapist, I hear stories every day — stories of strength wrapped in struggle, of people holding it together even when life feels heavy.

My clients and even those I may never meet remind me that pain doesn’t discriminate — but neither does grace. 🙏🏽

Heavenly Father,

I lift up every person fighting silent battles. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that even in the waiting, You are working. Restore peace, renew strength, and remind them they are never alone.

Unbelievable! Today is my business anniversary!!!

Twelve years ago, I established Destination Greatness Mental Health Services 🧠in Durham, NC. The powerful quote by Dr. King is certainly just as relevant today as it was 12 years ago, and as it was when Dr. King verbalized those words many years ago.✊🏽

This journey over the last 12 years has afforded Destination Greatness the opportunity to serve many individuals and families throughout NC, SC, GA, and beyond!. In addition to the direct services, we have provided workshops and engaged in numerous community endeavors.

In recent years, we've expanded our services in conjunction with my consulting practice and partners to help entrepreneurs understand the importance of taking charge of their mental health. Our new initiative is coined The Mental Cost of Entrepreneurship🧠.

In 2019, we were blessed to receive the 1st ever Tatiyana Award 🥇 presented by ATL Hottest for our efforts in promoting mental wellness amongst entrepreneurs.

In 2023, we were featured in Black Enterprise highlighting our work relevant to . And in 2024, I was recognized as a 🏆business professional in New York City.

The future of Destination Greatness reaps continued Greatness.

I spent some time today reflecting on my 12 year journey as the Owner and Clinical Director at Destination Greatness Mental Health Services.

So much has transpired since February 25, 2013 when the doors 🚪 opened to my 1st office in Durham, NC.

I am grateful for the lessons and blessings of entrepreneurship.

The process of overcoming the challenges contributed to me being blessed with greater self-discovery, transformation, and elevation.

I am also grateful for the opportunities this business has afforded me including the finances and freedom to commence other biz ventures.

And above all else, I am forever grateful for the lives we have impacted throughout the years. 💎
